Training Programme on Project Management

Program Overview

Title: Training Programme on Project Management

Objectives: The Programme is intended to provide a broad project management perspective to the participants who are responsible for project planning, formulation, implementation, and evaluation.

The specific objectives of the Program are:

  • To acquaint participants with tools and techniques to develop effective and efficient project planning, implementation and monitoring systems and preparation of project reports, and 
  • To provide a forum for Contractors to discuss various issues and challenges associated with project management, and share their experiences for the implementation of projects.
  • To equip the participant with skills and know how of Project formulation and DPR writing.

Participants Profile: The programme is well designed to suit the Entrepreneur/Businessmen/Start-up/Contractors responsible for project planning, formulation, implementation, and evaluation of projects which is similar in nature with infrastructure projects.

Minimum Criteria: Graduates

Batch Size: 25 to 30 participants

The training program will be facilitated through a combination of lectures, management games, case study exercises and discussion, problem solving assignments, and live project work. The emphasis is on learning through class participation and problem solving.

Program Venue:  The Program will be conducted at RGIIM Shillong.

Program Duration:  The Program duration will be of one week.

Program Date (Tentative):  13th to 19th September 2016. The class will start from 3.30 PM to 6.15 PM

Program Fees: The Registration Fee is Rs.1,000.00/- per participant. 

The Registration Fee can be paid by Demand Draft in favor of RGIIM Shillong payable in Shillong or by Cash.
