Dr Chacko Jacobis an assistant professor in the Finance area. He has a blend of corporate and academic experience spanning six years. He teaches courses on Financial Derivatives and Corporate Finance in the post graduate programmes.

Dr Chacko is active in research, with his current research focussing on Institutional Investor ownership (and activism) and corporate governance. He has presented papers at various national and international conferences. His research has appeared in the Journal of Emerging Market Finance. He is also a reviewer for the journal, Applied Economics.

  • Dr Chacko Jacob has a blend of corporate and academic experience spanning six years. During his brief stint in the industry, he worked in the Quality Assurance Department of Minda Valeo Ltd, an automotive supplier, as the departmental In-charge. Subsequently, he worked as a faculty member at the College of Engineering, Chengannur and the National Institute of Technology, Calicut.

    Dr Chacko is active in research, with his current research focussing on Institutional Investor ownership (and activism) and corporate governance. He is active in research and has presented papers at various national and international conferences. His papers have been published in the Journal of Emerging Market Finance. He is also a reviewer for Applied Economics.
